In Their Own Words: Actual Users' Reviews of Merial Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control for Dogs and Puppies
The best there is! – by G. Reid (Roseland, NJ)
“Frontline Plus is the best way to keep fleas and ticks off your dog. It is applied once per month in about 3 minutes. It seems to have little or no side effects on the dog. It has been used for many years on dogs without problems. I checked all products and asked various vets and everyone agrees that Frontline Plus is the best way to keep ticks and fleas off your dog. The Plus even kills the flea eggs.”
Frontline – by Matthew Wall (Monterey, CA)
“The product is very effective on fleas when used once a month. It is less effective on ticks after three weeks so you should check your dog carefully if ticks are active in your area. We have used product for over 6 years with our 70 lb lab and will continue to use it.”
Conclusion
When flea and tick season is around, your dog is miserable and so are you. Instead of using sprays or old-fashioned collars that do nothing but irritate your dog or puppy, go for what the pros (the veterinarians!) use and endorse on a daily basis for even the itchiest puppies and dogs. Merial Frontline Plus Flea and Tick Control for Dogs and Puppies is a time-tested solution to let both you and your dog enjoy a flea-, tick-, and lice-free home year round.

I often forget the fact that Frontline also kills ticks. Fortunately my dog has never had a tick (and touch wood, he never will!), but if it's simply a case of just using some Frontline on him, they should be quite easy to get rid of.

I've seen a lot of advertisements for this, so it seems like a pretty popular product. Looks like it works great at keeping the fleas and ticks away.
